Our mission of Equality for All In Thriving Communities was front and centre of all our actions. As a Philanthropic Hub we worked with donors and our network of voluntary, community and charitable partners to remain true to our mission in the face of major challenges.

Community Foundation Ireland’s Impact Report 2024 highlights another year of remarkable achievements in philanthropy and community support. The foundation continues to connect donors’ generosity with community needs, addressing challenges like climate change, the cost-of-living crisis, and social inequality. Their efforts include strategic interventions in sexual violence prevention, promoting sustainable futures, and strengthening community resilience.

This year, over €27 million in donations and over €23 million in grants were distributed, bringing the total grants since 2000 to €140 million. With a €50 million endowment fund, the foundation remains a vital force for change. For a closer look at these accomplishments and more, read below.
